Laneo is a parking platform for apartment communities, built and run by a team in Texas.
Residents register their plates from their phones. Guests scan, pay and park. Enforcement partners check plates against the same list. The property pays no subscription.
We kept hearing the same three things from property teams.
- Guest lots full every night, earning nothing.Visitor spaces are some of the most wanted spaces at a property, and they’re usually free to anyone who finds one first.
- Paper permits that fade, fall off and get copied.Stickers and hang tags are slow to issue, easy to lose and hard to check in the dark.
- Disputes about tows that nobody can settle.Without one shared record, a resident, a guest and a partner can each be sure they were right.
Four things we won’t change.
Software, not towing.
Laneo shows whether a plate is valid. Towing decisions belong to the property and its licensed partner, and no money is tied to tows.
No subscription for the property.
Residents pay $2 a month or less per vehicle, and guests pay only for the hours past their host’s free ones.
English and Spanish, by default.
The resident and guest apps, help articles and support all work in both languages.
