Why a plate isn’t valid

In short: not valid means no active permit or pass right now. Patrol accounts see the reason, so you know what you’re looking at. Tow accounts see only valid or not valid.

Reasons you may see

• A guest pass ended, for example “Pass ended Oct 15 at 11:00 PM”.
• The overnight window, for example “Overnight window 10 PM to 6 AM, needs an overnight pass”.
• Nights in a row, for example “Nights in a row 2 of 2 used this week”.
• Nothing registered: no active permit or pass, and no close match.

What to do

1. Rule out a close match If a registered plate looks almost the same, you see a close match instead. Check the plate again.
2. Follow your agreement Act under your agreement with the property and local rules.
3. Log what you see Add photos and notes to the violation log.
