Which is better for apartments, Laneo or Parkade?
For most apartment communities, Laneo. Guests park from a QR sign with no app or account, residents pay no card fees, each unit gets free guest hours before paid time, and residents, guests and support work in English and Spanish. Parkade fits better if you want to rent spaces to the public with event pricing.
Can Laneo earn revenue from guest parking?
Yes. Each unit’s free guest hours come first. After that, guests pay the hourly rate the property sets, and the property keeps its share of that revenue. Laneo’s share comes only out of paid guest revenue, and the property pays no subscription. Estimate your guest revenue
Is Laneo good for garages and assigned spaces?
Yes. Your team sets up the property’s space types, such as garage, covered or open parking, and gives each permit type a limit per unit. The plate is the permit; a printed tag is optional. Partners can log a car in someone else’s reserved space as its own violation type.
Do guests need an app?
No. Guests scan the QR sign or open their host’s link, enter their plate and pay in the browser. No account is needed.
Do we need to change our towing company?
No. Invite your current partner to Laneo. Plate lookup and the violation log are free for partners, and towing decisions stay with your property and its licensed partner.
