Questions

Is Laneo a ParkingPass alternative?

Yes. Both run plate-based permits and guest passes for apartment communities. With Laneo the property gets no monthly bill, residents pay $2 a month or less per vehicle, and guests park from a QR sign.

Which is better for apartments, Laneo or ParkingPass?

For most apartment communities, Laneo. The property pays no subscription, residents pay $2 a month or less with no card fees, each unit gets free guest hours before paid time, residents sync live from Entrata, RealPage and Yardi, and residents and guests get English and Spanish. ParkingPass fits better if you want to rent out assigned spaces or connect gates today.

Does ParkingPass sync with Entrata, RealPage or Yardi?

Its llms.txt lists Yardi, RealPage, Entrata and AppFolio, and its help center describes importing a CSV rent roll. Laneo syncs move-ins, move-outs and renewals from Entrata, RealPage and Yardi automatically, and other systems can use a CSV import.

What does our towing partner see?

Whether a plate is valid, yes or no, with close-match flags for look-alike plates. Partners never see a resident’s unit or name. Plate lookup and the violation log are free for every partner.

What happens if a tow is disputed?

Every permit change and plate lookup is saved to a hash-chained audit trail, with who did it and when. If a tow is disputed, Laneo puts together a tow dispute packet from that record, with evidence of the property’s signs under Texas Occupations Code chapter 2308.

Can Laneo earn revenue from guest parking?

Yes. Each unit’s free guest hours come first. After that, guests pay the hourly rate the property sets, and the property keeps its share of that revenue. Laneo’s share comes only out of paid guest revenue, and the property pays no subscription. Estimate your guest revenue

Do we need to change our towing company?

No. Invite your current partner to Laneo. Plate lookup and the violation log are free for partners, and towing decisions stay with your property and its licensed partner.
